Frequently asked questions

I'm concerned about people finding out that I'm seeing a counselor.

All mental health counseling sessions are completely confidential. As a licensed professional counselor, our license requires confidentiality for mental health sessions.

I'm used to dealing with my own problems. What is the benefit of seeing a professional?

As a mental health  professional I have extensive training and tools that I've acquired over the last 12 years.  I can help you approach the situation in a new way and begin to teach you skills to navigate successfully.  There is no judgement and I can help you see your situation with fresh eyes to help get you out of unhelpful patterns.

Where is your office located?

Our offices are located next door to Baybrook Mall in the Bank of America Building.

I've never sought help or support before. What will it be like?

Everyone needs help from time to time and seeking help shows that you are in tune with yourself and have the ability to reach and connect with a support system.  Our offices are beautiful and comfortable.  You might feel awkward for the first few moments before the first session, and clients generally move past that quickly once they see that we are truly there to help them in guiding way that is compassionate.  Our waiting room has water, coffee and tea to enjoy while you wait for your appointment.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Schedule an appointment by calling (832) 861-0922 or email

Accepted forms of payment:  Cash, Check, all major credit cards, including HSA cards (Health Savings Accounts).

I'm not confident in my online/ computer skills. Are the online programs difficult to navigate?

No problem!  Most people find them very easy to navigate.  If you know how to check your email and click on links, you are usually good to go!  If you do encounter problems, I will be there to help you navigate.
